Broadstairs Events

Broadstairs has a strong tradition of festivals and events, celebrating music, literature and its historical background.

Charles Dickens is celebrated in June with a DIckens Festival Week. Explore authentic room settings in the Dickens House museum on Victoria Parade.

Thomas Crampton, the renowned engineer, is showcased in the Crampton Tower Museum, Broadway, High Street.

Firework displays are held on the Viking bAy SAnds during the summer, on Wednesday evenings accompanied by music at the bandstand.

Throughout the summer, on Sunday afternoons, an assortment of local and visiting bands play traditional Sunday concerts on the bandstand - -relax in a deck chair with a cream tea while they entertain you.
