Parking

Broadstairs is a delightful Victoran town, designed before the motor car, with narrow streets and restricted access in certain areas. However, allowance has been made for parking where possible with a number of Pay and Display, off road, car parks (wih no height retsrictions), as well as Pay and Display designated on-street parking.

Athough all car parks are within an easy walk of the town, people with limited mobility might be advised to chose Chandos Square or on-street Pay and Display areas.

Larger vehicles such as coaches, mini-buses and motorhomes should use Vere Road car park.

Car parks:

Station Car Park: approach via St Peters Park Road

Vere Road car park: approach via the High Street. A pleasant path (not shown on map) through the park gives easy access to Albion Street.

Croft Place: approach via the High Street

Chandos Square: approach via Victoria Parade. (Bays are not suitable for larger vehicles.)

Albion Street: approach either via Albion Street or Nelson Place

Harbour Street: approach either via Albion Street or Nelson Place. Subject to sea spray at high tide. Restricted weight access. Not suitable for motorhomes, coaches or minibuses.
