What are we doing?

We are committed to bringing the best of Kent produce, and producers, to Broadstairs, encouraging people to explore our fabulous towns and villages, countryside and coastline.

Our chalk soil is ideal for grazing and the growing of grapes and orchard fruit, with Kent wines, ciders and cheese winning regional and national awards. The salt marshes provide perfect grazing for Romney sheep and our seas provide fresh fish, seafood and oysters.

We have over one hundred exhibitors, a festival bar, vintage tea parlour, chefs’ demonstrations and tasting workshops – perfect ingredients for a fabulous festival.

Why be involved?

The festival started in 2009 and has been managed by a team of volunteers, on the show ground and behind the scenes. The organisation is run as a Not-For-Profit community event, with any surplus funds being used for the next year’s event.

We offer local businesses excellent exposure and good return on investment via promotion on our website, social media, and PR. Broadstairs and St Peters Chamber of Commerce, and Broadstairs and St Peters Town Council,  recognise this value and have wholeheartedly supported the festival since its concept, through promotion, sponsorship and grant aid, of which we are deeply appreciative.
